__IT HAPPENS

ipod-classic
Ipod Classic with 160GB to hold all the music, tv programs, movies, podcasts and audiobooks your little heart desires - $249.00

Enjoying a pedicure by your favorite salon tech with eyes closed,   relaxing and listening to a great audiobook on above-mentioned ipod - $22.00

Dropping the beloved ipod into the tub of soapy foot water – DEVASTATING

Realizing that I may have just experienced the most expensive pedicure ever - AGGRAVATING

Spending the next two days alternating ipod between bowls of rice, and resting on the DVR to soak up all the heat; wishing, hoping and willing the darn thing to live  – FRUSTRATING

Returning home from work today to find she was only taking a nap.  It’s a miracle!  She lives! - PRICELESS

No kidding! __it happens way too often. Glad your high-tech device was roused from its underwater slumber.

Yeah, my first iPhone slipped out of my pocket and into the toilet. I wish I'd known about the rice trick back then and it might have saved me 400 bucks. Ugh....

oh oh....congratulations on the resurrection!!

So good to see you posting... My son has same iPod and is on third incarnation thanks to apple store warranty. Thinking they would help you out if rice didn't work...

Did..you actually drop your ipod into water? I guess you did! She is fine? She lived! Thank God! I've never owned one...but I want to...did you say a "pedicure?"
*REALLY heavy sigh*

I'm glad it wasn't as costly as it could have been! :)

Wow neat! This is a really great site! I am wondering if anyone else has come across something
exactly the same in the past? Keep up the great work!

Having never had a pedicure (I'm afraid I'd use the spare foot to kick the manicurist with) and never owning an Ipod, I can't relate. But I'm here anyway.
