NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED

helping_hands
Dear Big Fat Jerk……..or quite possibly Little Skinny Jerk…….or even Big Skinny Jerk……now that I think about it you could be a Little Fat Jerk or maybe just Dear Average Unknown Jerk:

Even though it was my first time to volunteer at the Soup Kitchen in probably 10 years, I will not let the fact that you sprayed some unknown substance all over my helpless little car and hocked up a disgusting wad of …..yeah…..THAT all over my drivers side door stop me from returning to serve others next month although next time I will drive MHS’s old truck and may or may not be packing heat.

Please know that I hold no ill will against you.  In fact I prayed that someone would spit in your face for you.  You may have been one of the people I cheerfully served with a hot meal.  Maybe not.  Either way, I’ll be there next month with a smile and two helping hands.  Let’s try to play nice.

Hugs,
Smart Mouth Broad

Oh, jeez. Yes, drive the truck next time.

That's just SO wrong, especially since you were there to help.

Yuck, and you are such a kind and wonderful person to still be willing to go back. It was probably a person with not all their facilities working in their brain and therefore was uncapable of realizing that the car parked there was belonging to someone who was helping them.

Jealousy is a terrible thing and a waste of one's time. Unemployment in CA is one of the worst in the nation, and so no matter where we go nowadays we are approached by someone asking for handouts. Mostly I give nothing because that is what we are told to do. They say that the people are waiting for you to bring out your wallet, then they will snatch it and run. So sad because then those that truly need help are not helped. If I am with more people then I feel safer about giving a little bit, but even then they have shown that the people who "beg" can sometimes make a six figure income and then never pay taxes. The police always say to just donate to charities, but then one wonders how much actually goes to the needy and how much goes to line someone's pocket. I am thankful that there are places that let us know how much goes where at some of these charities and so we can make an informed donation.

Oh and I agree, drive the truck, maybe they will wash it.

Are you really allowed to pack "heat"? I did not know Florida allowed that.

God bless.

With the work I do in my Christmas charity, I run into a few totally ungrateful people each year but I can't figure what would motivate someone to such actions.

Some just blame being down on their luck on the wrong people. Sorry someone was so rude but guess there will always be at least one rude SOB in the world.

Just remember the rotten apples at the bottom of the barrel are few in number. You're a good soul and I'm glad you're going back to serve again.

What possess someone to do such a thing? And what a knid and forgiving soul you are! I don't think even my meds whould have kept me for going ape-shit all over that parking lot!

I can not begin to understand the motivation behind that act.
Add "Clearly Demented Jerk" to the list and hope he gets the help he needs.
Driving the truck is a good thought however.

Good for you, SMB. If you let one nasty bastard turn you away from what you're doing, then the nasty bastards win. Onward and upward!

Oh, man! I think you're right to go back, but that doesn't mean it's easy. Sucks that happened.
But good for you!

I see God is testing your patience again huh? Happens to me all the time. Just when I think I am doing pretty good in life, something or someone comes along to see just how good I am doing!?? Then I feel the burn...youch....that sucks.

Gross. I found a "gift" on my car at the shopping centre once. It's unbelievable.

There is no special motivation behind that act. Some youngsters are just bored and find it fun to damage other people's property. I know people in Rotterdam who move house because their cars are burnt down, or their houses have been broken in several times. You cannot carry a handbag safely, for there is always the chance that it will be snatched away. My daughter was looking into a shopwindow and she held her bicycle. Suddenly a boy on a motorbike passed her and grabbed her bike. He couldn't drive fast so my daughter could stop him with the help of bystanders, and grab her bike back. This happens all the time.

There are those people out there, SMB, that just cannot leave other people alone and HAVE to do something disgusting to upset them! Be it words or deeds! Believe me I know!
However...THAT is worst! YUK!
p.s. Pack some heat! :)
