NEW YEAR'S BABY!

Twenty-four years ago tonight I was in labor. My Harley Stud and I were anxiously awaiting the birth of our first child. We were rewarded the next day with a beautiful, pink bundle of joy. She has continued to provide us with wonder and joy for twenty-four (WOW, can we possibly be old enough to have a child that is twenty-four!) years. Happy Birthday, D1. We love you!

And to everyone else: Happy New Year! May it be the best yet!

Happy Birthday to Thistle too. Yippee for New Year's babies!

Happy New Year. You know you could have pushed a little harder and had her on my birthday... You've lived in Florida so long, I've never met your daughters, believe it or not. So I guess that means you've never met my sons either. My oldest is 22 and my baby is 18 and only has 5 months left of high school and then he's army bound. (Yes, I support his decision, but I don't have to like it!) I only heard from my parents when they first arrived at their sunny destination. They were nice enough to call and say happy birthday. But I've called three times since and I only get their voicemail. Ahhhh! The life of retirement in Florida... They'll remember me after about a week... Love ya!

Your daughter is absolutely beautiful. It's amazing how many holiday babies there are. Must have something to do with feeling friskey in the Springtime. LOL.

I'm anxious to try your meatballs. I am so into "easy". Thanks for sharing. I have an event coming up. This will be a perfect dish for that.
