O.M.G.!!!!!!!!!

It's December! News flash, I know. And today is the day. Every December there comes a day when it hits me: I've got 90 days worth of tasks to accomplish and 19 days in which to accomplish said tasks. OK, it's official. I'm FREAKING OUT!

Not that you care. Not that you don't most likely feel the same. Not that you need to hear it here from me. But AIGHHHHHHHH! I think I'm having chest pains. I can't breathe. My head feels like it might explode. There are so many thoughts swimming around in my normally vacant brain that there just isn't enough room and something is about to blow!

What's a girl to do? And then it hits me…………

Ahhhhhh, that's much better.

Queue the Christmas carolers

Let the shopping begin (Somebody's got to get this economy moving in the right direction and I just might be the woman to do it)

Start melting the white chocolate

Roll out the wrapping paper

String up the lights

Trim the tree

Light the candles

Don't forget to give back

Just keep the Peppermint mochas flowing and nobody gets hurt!

I hear you! I'm thinking chai tea lattes or choc peppermint cocoa. Not a coffee drinker here, but I need something. There is no way I am going to get done all I need to do......

Peppermint mochas. . . great idea. Might be just what I need to kick start my behind and get into gear. That and a front-end loader. Sigh.

Where did you get my picture and who gave you permission to use it?? *wink*

I'm already crying when I hear Christmas music. Stubborn is harping at me to get my tree up and keeps reminding me their tree is up already.

I should be shopping online right now but I'm here with you instead. What's wrong with me? When will it end????? *picture me being melodramatic and beating my fist against the wall*

Oh, I am SO with you on this.

Can I spike that peppermint mocha with some vodka? Or do you think rum would taste better?

Perhaps some everclear?

Peppermint mochas are terrific when you use peppermint schnapps instead of the flavor stuff. Makes you warm all over. And relaxed.

Haven't bought a thing yet. Planning on making a DVD of this year's pics. Haven't done that yet. No tree. No decorations. Nada.

I could, however, picture myself dringing a peppermint mocha and gabbing with a friend about how we should get started with our holiday stuff.

Lynn-Hey, whatever works! Just grab your beverage of choice and let the games begin.

Fancy-It's a sure thing! Try it! But NEVER before Thanksgiving! RULE #!

MLS-Can't you see that woman has stringy blonde hair and not lovely red locks! That is ME! Silly!
I say you come on down here and we get our Christmas on! But first, put your dang tree up, GRINCH!

Jan, Dear, you may spike yours (and mine, please) with anything your big ole heart desires. Afterall, it's 5 oclock somewhere. So hurry!

Pseudo-ooooo, that's a good idea too. Now why haven't I ever thought of that! I like your idea of sitting with a friend and chatting about getting started. Want to join me? We could meet in the middle, say Oklahoma? *wink*

Hey can I come to this meeting too? I'll bring my own hot drink with pepperment snapps in it and even bring some to share. I have Christmas with my family this weekend and even took today off of work to get "stuff" done and here I am on the computor while drinking coffee. I have lots to do but I would take time to meet with ya all!

Smiles-Oh of course you can come! Please do. I don't think any of us will accomplish much afterward but we'll have a good time!

Bear-I'm on my way....

I was walking thru Target this afternoon - purchasing a bday gift for a party PR is going to. I had a nearly full panic attack .... I've done NOTHING for xmas. I am behind on all my regular stuff from being on my ass sick for a week. I feel exactly like that picture. I'm freaking out. Time for a peppermint mocha .......

Yes, yes....please meet in Oklahoma! I'll bring the coffee and the liquor! I have the tree up and the stockings hung but that's about it. Panic! No presents for 9 little darlings yet...panic! ****fast breathing****

huh...it's seeming a little tense around here...i am giving y'all virtual yoga classes for a year for Christmas...the kind where you chant and do that pose of a child thingy, during which i usually cop a nap...and the peppermint schnapps thing is effing brilliant. THAT i'm definitely trying...

VM-Aren't we all?

24-I hope you feel better soon.

SteppinThru-Wouldn't that be great!

Thistle-The freak factor is decreased significantly when combined with schnapps. :-)

You should pour some Kahlua in that mocha...

Okay, who said you could use that picture of me??

It's my spitting image. Yes, spitting.

Time for a Soma, you ask me. Oh, I already did that. Muscle relaxers are da bomb...

Me toooooo, but around 5:00 I switch to something harder than Starbucks.

Smart Mouth Broad said...

Lilu-If I keep spiking my mochas, I'm never going to get anything done. LOL

Nana-No, Dear, that picture is me. We must be twins! LOL
Soma is my go-to muscle relaxer of choice too. *wink*

Tricia-I hear ya. Boy do I hear ya!

That Peppermint Mocha--it's a life saver. Also a gut buster. And a jeans buster to boot.

Smart Mouth Broad said...

Jane-There's always the skinny variety. Not quite the same but when you're drinking multiples, you gotta cut back somewhere or prepare to waddle. LOL

I know what you mean! Love the Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Twist. Nothing like it. Oh BTW, I am a Harley girl as well. Hubby spends more time cleaning it though than riding it. Oh well. Check out my blog if you get time at http://thirtysomethingreality.blogspot.com. Gotta have biker girl friends:) Love your blog!
