Or these bags…..
or even this bag………. (although I really like this one and it does deserve some discussion.)
Today is the 20th anniversary of my 29th birthday. ACK!
I awoke this morning once again to find my permanent luggage right there on my face. It was my birthday wish that they disappear. I was pretty certain that they were a 40th birthday gift. I clearly remember waking on that particular date to find what I believed to be a new development. And I was NOT happy about it either.
But before you get all weepy and go out shopping for sympathy cards, today there is good news! It’s a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! I was going through some old photographs and made an amazing discovery!
I won’t bore you with all of my baby photos

Kindergarten SMB

If my mother was still with us, we would have to have a serious discussion about my bangs. Seriously…………………what was she thinking? And don't even get me started on that big ole bow.
All this time, I thought the bags I was carrying were a sign of aging. Now doesn’t that shine a different light on the subject? These darn things are a sign of eternal youth.
So there you have it. I may be a bag lady but I’m a very young, spring chicken, bag lady, dammit!
I feel so much better now.
Hugs,

Oh, my dear... You are a mere puppy. Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday!
You were (and still are) adorable!
super cute pics!
Happy Birthday! You know you are hot! :)
Me, too!!! I keep reminding myself that it isn't an age thing. My high school senior pictures had big old round bags in them.
And here they are still.
And oh yes, happy 20th 29th!
happy birthday! stay young! smiles.
Happy birthday! I am a bag lady as well, but my bags are much lower down. And on each leg. And I'm pretty damn sure I wasn't born with them.
about the bangs: my mom used to use that pink tape on my hair then cut my bangs. Needless to say they were always too short and always always crooked :)
Sweet. Love the old photos. I will have to remind other half that the birthday last month was only the 20th anniversary of his 29th birthday. He'll love that.
And you are just as completely adorable now as you were then. Hope your b.day was fabulous!
Have a fabulous birthday!!
Awesome perspective!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday! I like your eternal youth theory. It works.
Happy Birthday, SMB!!!! Apart from the rather severe bangs you had (LOL), you were adorable!
I have those same bags too. No matter how much water or sleep or makeup I work with, it doesn't matter.
I hope you have a wonderful day today, my friend!
i love you..luggage and all! hope u had a great day!
Awwwwww! What an adorable little girl you were!

This is a great site you have here. I just found it from a friend's page. I have a humor blog as well and I'd like to exchange links with you. This will spread some traffic around between us. Let me know if this is cool.

Happy Happy Birthday! Another December Baby! WooHoo! Today's my brother and sisters birthday too... :)
You are a cutie patootie - then and now. :)
I was born with luggage too. It's a family trait and an el stinko one. *runs to dial plastic surgeon*

I love that you have a bow on your head and another on your blouse. It is the sweetest thing ever.
Happy Birthday SBM!
My wife is a bag lady too - they are taking over the house. Your mother has a lot to answer for - the bow wouldn't even look good on me
Happy Birth day youngster. Aren't you glad you have some really old people to stop by?
One thing certain, the smile hasn't changed and that is a good thing.
Happy Birthday SMB!
Love that you're celebrating the 20th anniversary of your 29th birthday!
And a big happy birthday to ya, sugar; you're just as adorable today as you were in kindergarten!
Clearly our mothers shopped in the same stores for our clothes. Or maybe cuz we're almost exactly the same age. I even had those ridiculous yarn bows. Thought I was sooo cool. And the bangs? I may still have them...
As for bags, the ones I rock under my eyes could carry all my luggage for a one week tropical vacation. I recently found green undereye concealer. Yeah, green. Who knew?
You were adorable and probably still are; I'm sure that smile is still the same!
Happy B-Day! As for me I am quickly running out of time in my 49th year-ugh.
Oh, my dear--what a lovely twinkle you had in your eyes back then. I have a feeling you still have that twinkle. ((hugs))
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You really ARE a spring chicken! This, from an old lady. (teehee)
Yes, you're just a youngster and you should wear those bags proudly. They are a sure sign you've actually gone somewhere with your life. :)
HUGS and many many many more 29ths.
See? It's all a matter of perspective. Good for you. Your pics are really cute too, btw. I do love that big red bow.
So happy 20th 29th birthday! You still look awesome!
LOL! Happy Birthday! Those pictures do make me smile and sorry but yes, they made me laugh my ass off...not laughing at you...with you...because I am almost certain we had the exact same person cutting our hair...those bangs...yep, I have the same ones...and very likely the same person dressing us because those dresses and that bow....ditto...:) What were they thinking???? And those bags? Don't even get me started! Damn right your a spring chicken! XX Lori
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I think your mom went to the same "bangs cutting" class that my mom did :-)
Have a great year.
xo
Happy belated birthday! I am sorry I am late!!
I wish you many, many more birthday together with your family!
Your photos were great! You were a lovely kid!
There is a new program out there "Bags for Bangs" LOL
Happy Birthday
Love it! That is certainly a great discovery you have made there!
Don't talk to me about bags - I have something turkyish growing under my neck - OMG kill me, kill me now. I hope your birthday was tremendous - coz you deserve it! You're just adorable then and now. MUAH!
Love the old pics.
I was just thinking about the old yarn string we used to put in our hair, just two days ago. I was wondering if they were still available nowadays.
Bags..Like you, my cousin has had them since childhood. Don't hide them, flaunt them!
Oh honey, I just had my 55th birthday last week and I have given up any hope of the dark circles and bags under my eyes going away. My grade school pictures are similar since the eye baggage and dark color have been with me for 50 of those 55 years. Only saving grace is I don't have wrinkles....but I am getting age spots....sigh...can't win, can we?
My 20th anniversary will be Monday. Looks like we have age in common. Ugh. I'm finding it very difficult to believe and understand that I will be 20 years past 29 in 2 days time. Double Ugh. I am trying to bask in the glory of age and how beautiful is it is to be an older woman, but I've come to the conclusion that is ONLY if you are wealthy and live in Hollywood and have access to the best doctors.
