I’ve told you about my music wars with NoleBoy, about playing SmartAss with him by text while he was in class and our fun at Parent’s Weekend. My Harley Stud and I love NoleBoy. He is smart, a gentleman and a responsible young man. He comes from a very nice family and has been raised with a value system similar to ours. Simply put: He’s a good guy.
What I haven’t told you before now is that Daughter #1 is in a relationship with NoleBoy’s older brother whom we shall refer to from this point forward as NoleBoy Too (who, by the way is also smart, a gentleman and a responsible young man).
It was last October: FSU’s Homecoming. Both D1 and NoleBoy Too are FSU alumni. It’s kind of funny but while they went to different high schools, they still have many friends in common. They went to the same college at the same time and even lived in the same apartment complex and yet…….they never met. That is not until they both returned to FSU for Homecoming. They spent the weekend with their siblings and hit it off as friends. Once they both returned to Palm Beach County, their friendship blossomed into something more and by Christmas they too had become an item.
At first D2 and NoleBoy #1 weren’t thrilled with this new development. They worried that if the older sibs had a terrible break-up, it would make things awkward between the families. Eventually they relaxed and started having fun with it.
It does make things interesting.
While neither couple is ready to make any life-long commitment, it’s fun to think about the what-ifs.
- At this rate, all of my grandchildren (should there be grandchildren) could have the same last name.
- Having only one set of in-laws to work with makes for easier holiday event planning/child sharing.
- Double wedding? Oh my!
- It’s fun to hear the stories that the siblings tell on each other.
- The level of competition when playing Wii Wii has increased tenfold.

How fun.
Not to rush things or twist an arm of any of these 4 beautiful people, but I have 2 guy cousins who are brothers and they dated and then married 2 gals that were sisters. My 2 cousins ended up marrying those 2 gals who were sisters and their kids were all what are called 'double cousins'.

GREAT!! We had an uncle and nephew marry two sisters about 100 years ago in the families, it makes for close knit families let me tell you. We are all double cousins but now 2nd and 3rd cousins but still closer than most....
wow. pretty cool how that worked out...nice looking couples...and it certainly does have its perks.
What a great looking group. Isn't there a grown up boy you can adopt for the twin sister to date. I mean, keep this going by all means.
I think that is so cool! Hard not to think of the possibilities. How easy it could make holidays, all the genes those grandkids would share....

I had a hard time keeping up, but I think I've got it... they're all so dang cute, and the story... ack... really cute.
My ex and his brother did this very same thing and to my knowledge everything is still going great for all four of them.
That would be great only having one set of in-laws to work around. I'm soooo jealous!!
So interesting!! Seems like there could be a huge benefit to just the one set of inlaws. My guess is that you and MHS will be great in laws anyway...!
How cool! My next door neighbor's brother is married to his wife's sister. I think it happens more than we realize! And they are all adorable - so any potential grandchildren would be equally so, I'm sure!

How lovely! Now this isnt the same story really, but its similar. Both of my sisters dated the same guy. Not both at the same time, mind you. "Tim" (not his real name) went out with my 2nd sister. Then they broke up; well, actually technically my 2nd sister broke it off. Tim gradually realized that he was secretly in love with my 3rd sister. They started going out. They got engaged. Boy, was my 2nd sister pissed. She said, "Now I have to have my ex as my brother in law!" It was a tad awkward, but then we all said to her, "Get over it, and wish them well." Today my 3rd sister and Tim are happily married with 3 kids. My 2nd sister is also happily married with 2 kids. Everyone is still on great terms with each other.
Awww this is so sweet. Wow. Sisters dating brothers. My maternal grandmother and her sister married brothers and it all worked out really well. :)

Two of my grandson's married two sisters from Columbia. Adam met his wife in college and of course introduced her sister to the family and..there ya go. We have a family of young unmarried men..and women for that matter...all handsome..so if anyone...:)
Anyway...We now have the tiny great granddaughter you see on my sidebar...so..SMB..LOOK OUT! :) Grandma time could be in the not too distant future!

I love this turn of events. I think the part of having only one set of in laws to share your girls with is a real perk should things go that way.

AAWWW!They all look so cute together. Just think, all the grand kids should look pretty similar since your daughters look somewhat alike and the NoleBoys do too.
I have diabetes and after looking at these "kids" I had to take a shot of insulin. Young. Gorgeous. Sexy as all get-out (did I just say that to their MOM? No? Good)
And did I say "young" already?
The grandchildren would be TOO gorgeous........don't count your chickens before they hatch. This would be too good to be true!!!
Kind of interesting that the genetic makeup of each set of grandkids would be the same! The cousins would be as close genetically as brothers and sisters! I think?
You could probably still have that third kid.
