PURDY PLEASE

I have a favor to ask.

For the past nine months I have provided you with endless drivel, mindless nonsense and random boring facts. Have I ever asked anything in return for providing this service?

What? Oh well, there was "that" time. Oh and yes, you're right, "that other time". Well, I haven't asked much considering how much completely unnecessary crap I've provided. Well, peeps, it's time to pay up. That's right. Time to pay the pooper....uh ....er....piper.

Our friends, The Saint and the Biker Nazi, have a son at Purdue University studying Aviation Technology. He posted a video on YouTube for extra credit. It seems that the more hits the video gets, the more extra credit he will receive. So purdy please with sprinkles on top, would you click to watch the video and give the kid some credit. He's a goooood boy. Really.

It's not very long and it contains clips from Top Gun. Remember Goose and Maverick. Those were the days.

Did ya do it? Did ya, did ya?

Thanks, you're the BEST!

Hugs,
SMB

I clicked on it twice, because I'm all for getting extra credit for nothing you personally did!!

Although, I would like to officially lodge my complaint that it kinda made me carsick! It was like watching the Blair Witch Project! (-4 pts).

Done!

I loved Meg Ryan's line in that movie, "Take me to bed or lose me forever!"

I've got a sore thumb from clicking on the damn' thing while I caught up on 450 (!!!!) blog posts waiting on my NewsFire reader. He should be getting straight As by now. And I'm with MLS - don't get it at all. LOL, maybe we're too old?

Done! What a great friend you are to the Saint and Nazi Biker! How proud they must be of their son too and a great idea you had about posting it on your blog. Hope he does well. Was he in that video? One of the 3 boys perhaps? Great kid!

Powerful clip and the kid DESERVES extra credit! Done and done.

On a personal note, I love the sound of fighter jets going over, I love fighter pilots, I loved the flying scenes in Top Gun, and I think I was a jet pilot in a former life.

Awh, what a great video! Hope they get all the extra credit they can. :)

Hubby was on an aircraft carrier in his younger days -- he has pretty good memories of those travelin' days. Now he works at Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, and for the most part, loves his job around all the planes. He's in Seattle at the Boeing plant this month ... and if I already mentioned that, it's only because I can't wait til he gets home this coming Friday!!

Thanks everyone for all your help. I know that he appreciates it and I do too.

Our friends' son is the tall, thin kid in the video.

MLS and Tessa-I don't get it either. I asked him what the assignment was and he said it just had to be about aviation tech. Pretty cool, anyway.

thyme-If you figure it out the missing link, please share.

Jane and OG-Who doesn't love a fly boy!

D1 once had a guy try to pick her up in a club saying he was leaving for navy flight school. His friends had convinced him he could pick up girls with that line. He gave up when he realized she knew more about Navy pilots and the flight program than he did. LOL

I'll do it. Oh and I leave the little doggie, who's no longer a puppy now, in my header because you like him!

I still don't get it, but I've looked at it again.

And again.

I'd say you owe me, but...well, I'll be posting my own little "You've got no choice but to read this and tell my how clever my offspring is" tidbit later.

So get ready to tell me how clever my offspring is.
