I SURVIVED!

SURVIVED

Pay no attention to the medical experts who claimed my symptoms were not that of the swine flu or even flu symptoms for that matter. Never mind that I’ve almost completely recovered after 36 hours of antibiotics working their ever-lovin’ magic into my bloodstream. I don’t care if the docs say it was a UTI! I KNOW it was the swine flu. And I survived it! Oink!

I think the universe put some sort of curse on me just because I affectionately refer to my new toy as a Wii Wii. I walk around the house saying things like, “Did you Wii Wii today?” or “Do you want to Wii Wii with me?” And then within 48 hours of receiving this AMAZING gift, I found myself being able to do nothing but Wee Wee, think about going Wee Wee, wishing I could sleep instead of going Wee Wee EVERY.TEN.MINUTES and praying that I would never have to Wee Wee again. I guess that last one isn’t practical but if you’ve ever had a UTI the Swine flu you know what I’m talkin’ about.

I was rewarded for my pain and suffering by Wii Wii though. After completing my fit test today, I want you to know that Wii Wii thinks I’m 39. Of course, I should be insulted because we all know I’m 27 but being that just a few days ago, I was 55, I’ll take 39 and run with it

Thanks, everyone, for your well wishes. Reading your comments while I tried desperately to find a comfortable position on the couch provided me with a good laugh, warm fuzzies and sometimes both.

Big hugs,

SMB

I want to know WHAT kind of doctors you have that would mistake the Swine Flu for a urinary tract infection.

Damn quacks.

At any rate, dear, I'm glad you're feeling better, and hope that any and all Wii-ing, to say nothing of weeing, is much less stressful for you now.

39 - jeez, I'm jealous. I just know it will tell me I'm 104. I just KNOW it.

I remember 39... and 55!

So glad the antibiotics worked rapidly and you're back in the land of the living, with or without excessive wee wee!

That's ok. You can disguise your "Wii" any old way you want because it isn't going to do one bit of good. I am HOT on the trail of finding out exactly WHAT you are talking about and WHAT it is!! So.....there!
Now. I'm glad you are back and feeling much better. Wii or wee ..no matter..just wee and then Wii and everything will be back to normal.
In the meantime..I am learning to OINK! So..whadayathinkathat!!! Hmmmmmm??

P.S. Hugs!!

Cranberry juice, missy.

And of course you are 39. Maybe if I get a Wii, it will also declare me to be 39? Sounds like a plan.

Thanks for the hugs. Need 'em.

Glad you are feeling better. It's been a long time since I had what you had but not too long to know it really does suck. So the Wii tells you how old you are? Maybe I don't want one of those now.

Oh, how we can be sustained by imagination(which I am all for). Working in medical I can say EVERYONE thought they had the Swine if they so much as sniffled. Wills were drawn up....

Oh when I first go my Wii...I was totally obsessed with it...so much that I got a touch of wii-titus. My elbow was so sore from tennis. And don't even get me started on how sore I was from bowling. We've been living it up with rock band lately.

Just as I was about to send you a 'Get Well' card...you had to recover from the "Swine Flu".

Oh well, maybe next time...

I'm back! Yeah..well..I have a question. What am I missing about "Twitter?" When I first saw you were doing it, I thought you were playing a game..is there some other Twitter? Because the one I am on..(shrug) there is just nothing going on! Nothing! I see comments from Di at Blue Ridge Gal..but...she says lots less than on her blog....so...I don't get it. Whaaat?
