Yesterday I posted two true facts and one lie about my wedding. I challenged you to put your deductive powers to the test and detect my lie.
I was maybe a little too “into” this game as I alternated between strutting and sulking around the house. MHS had a good time laughing at me as I would cheer, “Yes! I fooled another one!” and then “Damn! They know me too well.”
It killed me, to keep the secret for 24 hours. But now the time has come for the big reveal.
#3: Our wedding picture was in the yellow pages. True. The photographer used our wedding picture for his ad in the yellow pages for the next few years.
#2: My Harley Stud and I were married by the same minister who officiated at James Dean’s funeral. True again. Some of you thought that the minister would be too old by the time we wed but not so. James Dean died in 1955. (5 years before my birth) James Dean was raised in my hometown and his family still lives there. The Reverend Xen Harvey performed both ceremonies. He was a very special man and I hold a very special place in my heart for this rebel with a cause. More on that later.
#1: Our wedding started 30 minutes late because the best man, The Biker Nazi, overslept after having a bit too much fun at the bachelor party the night before. Lies, lies, lies. And God help me if The Biker Nazi finds out that I said this. The truth is that MHS didn’t even have a bachelor party. Oh sure, The Biker Nazi wanted to give him one but MHS wasn’t interested. I think he was too nervous about acquiring the new ball and chain to have a good time. Our wedding was a beautiful candlelight ceremony that started precisely on time at 6:30pm with The Biker Nazi in his rightful place.
Well, there you have it, folks. Many of you guessed correctly which tells me that I’m not as mysterious as I think I am. Who am I kidding? I’m a blabbermouth and everyone knows it. But that’s what you love about me, right? You do love me, right? Hello? Is ANYONE still there? Yoohoo?
I want to thank Jane at Gaston Studio for tagging me for this fun game. And now I’m supposed to tag others to play. Well, Jack is starting now on the DVR because MHS is tired of waiting for me to finish this post and so I’m tagging everyone. If you want to play, go for it. I can’t wait to see what kind of lies you can cook up.

I play this game with my students on the first day of school; it is such a great way to meet new people. I do have to add the caveat that they cannot use favorite colors. This kids don't have the imagination that you do.
Yay I got one right yehaw :-)
Man! I am so mad that I missed this one! You really came up with three good ones though...bravo! I would have picked the James Dean one...I'm surprised!
HA! I got it. You're a lot of fun Smart Mouth.
OH..how could I have thought that ..OH I am terrible..the best man would never ever be late! Shame on me for thinking such a thought!
It was a very nice game! And we all are fond of you, because you are you!! And please don't change. Thanks for the game!
Love you tons, SMB, of course!
Maybe you should post photos of your wedding... you know, as proof (and because it would be fun to see!)
I haven't watched any of this season of Jack. Other half and I usually catch up on dvd. Hope he saved the world.

You are hysterical SMB!!! You totally got me on the James Dean one. But, how awesome is that you you and hot hubby are in the yellow pages? I'd collect my royalties, lol.
Always a smile at your place gal :)
Steady On
Reggie Girl
Rats!!! I missed your game.
Darn Darsden getting it right!!!
Well, darn, I guessed wrong. But at least I knew the James Dean thing was true.
And if you are surprised that lots of people guessed right on yours, you ain't got nuthin' on me. What kind of person do my readers think I am?!?
Apparently the kind of person I am. *sigh*
WooHoo...I had it right (originally) until I fell into the "I have to go with the majority attitude" and say it was the yellow pages.
Next time I am on my own!
I may have to give it a try too..
Never would have got that! The Yellow Pages threw me good.
What the hell was I DOING yesterday! I missed your and Pseudo's posts about truths and lies!
Oh the disappointment! I'm crushed that you could lie and actually fool us.....well, me anyway.
I'm trying to think of two truths and a lie that would be believable AND that I haven't already told on myself about. Maybe when I put up my next post......in a month? Yeah....maybe.
Hey Girl,
I miss you in Tweetsville.
Anyway,
I agree with Laura's comment: This is a fun way to break the ice with new students in September.
Thanks for sharing!
I was wrong, darnit! It never ocurred to me to think about advertising. No worries, I don't need the evidence.
How was 24? My hubby was watching 24 while I was watching Bachelorette. Pathetic, I know.
Clever! The lie seemed the most likely thing to happen :-D
Wow, to have your marriage advertised in the yellow pages, that is a great way to start!
Did I guess? Did my wife guess or did I flip a coin while eating spinach I read you posts and always LOL Thanks
i was afraid to guess...and now i wish i had. I would have been right!
Yay! I know you so well and didn't guess at all. Ok, ok, I guessed. But it was a great guess!
I love this game!
I played today too. Hilarious!
Laura-Great idea. My daughter is a school teacher. I'll have to tell her about it. (unless she's reading *wink*)
darsden-Yay for you!
Debbie-You just never know what you'll miss.
Pseudo-Smarty pants!
Mona-I figured I've complained enough about BN to make it believable.
Wil-Glad you enjoyed it.
Movie-I know we have that page from the yellow pages somewhere. the problem is remembering where.
RG-I'm the James Dean expert. You didn't know? LOL
Hit40-That darsden, she's a smarty.
Jan-that's ok because I love the person that you are.
Sharing-Go for it. It's fun.
Linda-I was thinking that would be the most popular guess.
Jane-Yes, Where WERE you?
MLS-Sorry about that. Love ya. Mean it!
Auntie-Miss you too.
DZ-24 was a cliff-hanger. Hate it. I have to chew my nails all summer now.
thyme-that must be the secret to our success. LOL
Joe-I'm guessing you had help from your lovely wife.
Mrs K-Afraid? Silly girl.
Beth-I loved this game too. I may just play it again one day soon.
LiLu-I'll be over later to play
